Heimkaup (Wedo ehf). is a progressive Icelandic online store and also the largest operating in Iceland. The company was founded in 2010 with the goal of customers purchasing various specialty products, but little by little the product range has become more and more diverse.

On July 1, 2023, Heimkaup bought a 100% shares in Lyfjaval, which operates 7 pharmacies, 9 convenience stores, i.a. under the brands 10-11 and shares in Brauð & co., Gló and Sbarro.

The goal of the shareholders is to build a strong company in the retail market with distributed income. Achieve simplification, better procurement, optimization and lower unit costs.

The plan is to list the company on the stock market after 5 years.
